Position Title: Member, SAS Undergraduate Admissions and Scholarship Committee
Committee Charge:
The Undergraduate Admissions and Scholarship Committee shall set and review policy concerning undergraduate recruitment, admissions, and transfers into SAS (both from other units in the University and from outside the University). It shall also develop and review on a yearly basis the policies and procedures under which SAS scholarship funds are administered and awarded, and shall examine applications and recommendations for all scholarship funds administered by the SAS.
In Spring 2021, the SAS Faculty voted to merge the Undergraduate Admissions Committee and Scholarship Committee into a single committee.
Committee Commitment and Meetings:
- Two-year term
- Expected to meet once per term
