As Dean of Humanities, Ben Sifuentes‑Jáuregui brings deep scholarly expertise and long-standing leadership to the division. A Professor of American Studies and Comparative Literature, Ben holds a Ph.D. in 20th‑century Latin American Literature from Yale University.
Since joining Rutgers in 1997, Ben has served in numerous leadership roles across the university, including Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education and Executive Officer of the Comparative Literature Program.
