Tom leads the SAS Office of Information Technology, managing a broad range of IT and data operations that include central systems support, web development, maintenance and repair, high-performance computing, software development, and instructional support.
Tom has been working in IT at Rutgers since 1992 and manages a dedicated team of 55 professionals. He believes in fostering a culture of continuous growth and learning, ensuring that his staff is well-equipped to meet the evolving challenges of the IT and data landscapes.
Tom also serves as a Rutgers IT Leadership Council member, participating in IT governance at Rutgers. His contributions have helped shape the direction of IT at the university, ensuring that it remains at the forefront of technological innovation and excellence.
