  • Dream/Goal: My biggest goal is to be a good person. It is always easier said than done but I want to be someone who can have a positive impact on others whether it's small or big. That is why I chose the field of Social Work as my masters to better serve others.
  • Favorite Rutgers Moment: My favorite Rutgers moment was the day I found out I have been selected to be a Resident Assistant on campus. The day started off really badly for me. I was sitting outside my class and wondering if I am even smart enough to do anything. Afterwards, I forced myself to go to class and hold back my tears. While in class, I checked my email and saw that I got accepted for a job I did not believe I was capable of. This job truly opened my eyes to a side of me that I did not know I had. I learned a lot about who I am and what my strengths are while making a difference in my community.
  • What does it mean to be a Scholar?: Being an EOF Scholar allowed me to successfully navigate the crazy world of college while having a strong support system through the EOF program. The people who make up the EOF program (especially the counselors, deans, etc.) are nothing but supportive. I remember times when I felt really down about my GPA and they were the ones who reassured me that I am doing my best. The amount of support and love from this program really helped me gain confidence that I use to achieve my goals.
