The Rutgers School of Arts and Sciences has created an array of programs leading to a Master of Arts (MA), Master of Sciences (MS), and Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) that address the complexity of the world we live in. Master’s students return to Rutgers through the School of Graduate Studies to enroll in these programs for additional education and training in fields that will have a lasting impact on the world.

The first class of our new genetics counseling master’s degree program, pictured above with Jessica Joines, director of the program and member of the Department of Genetics, is the latest in a succession of new graduate programs developed by the School of Arts and Sciences to expand educational opportunities in a range of emerging fields.
