Louis P. Masur is Distinguished Professor of American Studies and History. A cultural historian, he is the author of many books including Runaway Dream: Born to Run and Bruce Springsteen’s American Vision and co-editor of Talk About A Dream: The Essential Interviews of Bruce Springsteen. His essays and reviews have appeared in the New York Times, Slate, the American Scholar, and the Chronicle of Higher Education. His website is www.louismasur.com.
