POSTPONED Scarlet Speakers: "Minds and Machines" with Executive Dean Peter March in New York City
Due to the rising concerns regarding COVID-19, Rutgers University has suspended all University-sponsored events through the month of May. We will re-schedule this event in the near future, as we know there has been a great deal of interest in the topic. We look forward to seeing you at the re-scheduled event.
Please join the School of Arts and Sciences for "Minds and Machines" presented by Peter March, Executive Dean, Rutgers School of Arts and Sciences, in New York City.
Advances in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Quantum Computing are remaking the world and generating fierce competition among universities, companies, and nations. The rapid pace of technological change can serve the greater good, promote economic wellbeing, lead to breakthroughs in medicine, and more. "Minds and Machines" is a visionary interdisciplinary effort that will position Rutgers as a leader in this new era. Join us for a discussion on how Rutgers plans to build on existing strengths to position itself as a hub in emerging areas of technology done in partnership with industry, government, and through engagement with the general public.
