Sharon Bzostek is an Associate Professor of Sociology, and has been a faculty member at Rutgers since 2011. Sharon served as Undergraduate Program Director in the Department of Sociology prior to joining the SAS Office of Undergraduate Education as Associate Dean in 2020.
Sharon is deeply committed to undergraduate education and to supporting both students and faculty. In recognition of her contributions, she received the SAS Award for Distinguished Contributions to Undergraduate Education in 2015. Her research and teaching interests include social demography, quantitative methods, and disparities in access to health care and health outcomes among children and families.
