Jim Masschaele has been a member of the Executive Dean’s Office since 2012. He currently serves as Interim Dean of Humanities and Executive Vice Dean, bringing over a decade of leadership and academic excellence to the role.
A Professor of History, Jim is a distinguished scholar specializing in medieval history. His academic leadership includes six years as Director of the Medieval Studies Program, three years as Undergraduate Vice Chair, and three years as Chair of the History Department.
