Mike Kiledjian is a Distinguished Professor and former chair of the Department of Cell Biology and Neuroscience, a role he held for 13 years. A Rutgers alumnus, he earned his Ph.D. in Molecular Biology and leads NIH-funded research on the regulation of mammalian RNA degradation and its association to human disorders.
Mike is a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) and a recipient of the Rutgers Board of Trustees Award for Excellence in Research. He has been a member of the Rutgers faculty since 1995.
