Congratulations, Arts and Sciences Classes of 2020 and 2021!

Rutgers-New Brunswick welcomed the Classes of 2020 and 2021 back to campus this weekend for a celebration of their success that, like so many other milestones, was delayed by the COVID-19 pandemic.

On beautiful October mornings, the School of Arts and Sciences welcomed the graduates who had finished their college days remotely, mastering material through Zoom classes, and completing their degrees during a worldwide health crisis. The joy was palpable as graduates and families arrived at the Rutgers Athletic Center ready to take their moment on the stage, bump elbows with a dean, and hear their names called and the cheers from their families.

Cap tossCap tossEven with the masks accompanying the flowing scarlet regalia, you could see the happiness in the faces as graduates packed the RAC and waited patiently for the Celebration to begin.

Watch the video and hear Executive Dean Peter March call out to the crowd: "Are you ready to Celebrate?"

And see below the moments of exuberance that follow the perseverance and determination that lead to this triumphant day.

Hats off to the classes of 2020 and 2021!
