Office of Undergraduate Education
The SAS is the only school in New Brunswick offering a comprehensive liberal arts undergraduate education.
As such, it offers students a unique opportunity to acquire the tools and knowledge necessary to pursue a wide variety of career and life paths, quipping them with the breath and skills to successfully meet the rapidly changing demands of the 21st Century. Students complete a set of Core Curriculum requirements that meet multiple core learning goals while also exploring particular areas of interest more deeply through completion of a major and minor. Equally important, students study and actively engage in research with our world-class research faculty in an uncommonly extensive range of disciplines and courses, joining with faculty in following their curiosity to the creation of new knowledge and understandings of human behavior, belief, culture, and society and of the natural environment.
The SAS Office of Undergraduate Education handles a variety of matters concerning curriculum and instruction. This section provides information and resources for faculty and administrators. Students looking for more information about academics programs in the SAS should consult the Office of Academic Services.
