The Libraries will hold their ninth Annual “Celebration of Recently Published Faculty Authors” Exhibition and Reception to honor faculty who have published books during 2011 on March 21, 2012 in the atrium of Alexander Library. Please submit your books by February 27 for display in the exhibit!

Faculty are encourage to submit a copy of work(s) published in 2011 to be on display in the lobby of the library for the exhibition March 23 - April 30. The exhibition opening reception will be held Wednesday March 21, from 5:00 - 7:00 pm, in the atrium, on the lower level of the Alexander Library. We hope that faculty will also donate that copy of their work (books or CDs/DVDs) for the permanent library collections. Such gifts will be recognized at the event and in the exhibition catalog. All submissions should be sent to Harry Glazer, Libraries’ Communications Director, c/o Alexander Library as early as possible, but no later than February 27 to ensure that the contributions will be included in the catalog. Harry can be reached at 2-7505, ex. 303, or at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. .

If you have already donated a copy of your 2011 book to the Libraries, please contact Harry and he will arrange for your contribution to be recognized in the exhibition.

As part of the Celebration, the Libraries plan to publish a catalog that describes all the publications. To insure that all participants are represented appropriately, we recommend that faculty members include a brief (one-paragraph) summary of their publication with their submission. We recommend that these statements be emailed to Harry Glazer.

The Libraries are delighted to conduct this event each year to call attention to the scholarship of our distinguished faculty and celebrate their accomplishments.

All faculty are invited to attend whether or not they have a publication in the exhibition!
