"We Must Not Abandon Science" with Wise Young, MD, PhD

Wise YoungA leader in spinal cord injury research, Wise Young recently concluded clinical trials for people with chronic complete spinal cord injuries in which 75% of participants recovered the ability to walk with minimal assistance. He is applying to the FDA to begin clinical trials in the U.S. in 2018. Additional trials are being scheduled in India, Taiwan, China, and Europe. Dr. Young has appeared on “20/20,” “48 Hours,” “Today,” “Eye-to-Eye,” Fox News, and CNN.
