Students and Scholars Working TogetherThe School of Arts and Sciences Signature Courses are foundational courses engaging topics of grand intellectual sweep that introduce students to questions of enduring importance. They are designed and taught by our great scholars and scientists who are recognized for their specialized research and as eloquent and demanding award-winning teachers. Each course comprises capacious lectures by faculty and small discussion sections led by graduate students from our nationally-ranked graduate programs. Signature Courses establish a common basis for intellectual exchange among students and faculty inside and outside the classroom, defining us as members of a common SAS community. English Department Online Writing Lab Serves Students in Writing Intensive Courses
The Rutgers University Online Writing Lab (RUOWL), created by the Writing Program in the Department of English, is an online tutoring resource designed to help students who are enrolled in a Writing Intensive course at Rutgers. Students can submit questions or portions of work to the site, and online tutors will respond via email. |
